Dec 16th North shore Troon helicopter practice

The weather is still damp but very mild. When out for a walk along the shore the rescue helicopter appeared and spent time carrying out a trial rescue at sea. You can just see the winchman at bottom of shot, sorry but too far away to get a decent snap. Only a few weeks until HMS Gannet helicopter stood down and this one takes over.
