Apr 13th Black sand

My morning walk takes me past the beach at Playa de la Arena. As you can see this is a volcanic ash black beach, not my favourite as you do get extremely messy and the sand gets everywhere. This can be a very dangerous beach at it slopes steeply with high waves crashing in easily knock bathers off their feet.
